Attention all cooks!

Food tastes better with fresh ground pepper.  Now you have the opportunity to learn how to create your own peppermill grinder.  Nothing says "back off I know what I'm doing" in the kitchen like your own handmade peppermill grinder.  7 out 10 divorced husbands agree!

This workshop will be taught by club president Joe Payne.   You will be taken through the entire process of sizing, turning, drilling, finishing, and assembling a fully functional peppermill grinder.

Your workshop fee includes everything needed to complete this project from start to finish.  And you get to keep the finished peppermill grinder upon successful completion.

Of course you are welcome to bring your own tools and finishing supplies should you prefer.  Please no regular CA glue finish as the fumes can easily overwhelm others in our enclosed shop space.  Otherwise just bring yourself and everything will be provided to you.

This workshop does require some spindle turning experience.  This is not the time to learn how to turn spindles.  You do not have to be advanced at it.  But at least be comfortable with turning beads, coves, shaping a spindle piece, and using a parting tool.

Peppermill grinders also make a terrific gift for weddings, divorces, and that secret side-fling you thought your spouse didn't know about.  Nothing says let-me-out-of-relationship-jail like gifting a handmade Peppermill grinder!  

Don't like pepper?  Well, nobody's perfect.  The same design and hardware kit work equally well for peppercorns or salt crystals.
